It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Francis Prinkey of Darlington, Pennsylvania, born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Fred Smith; her parents, Leslie Reynolds and Margaret Reynolds (Parsons); and her siblings, Leslie "Butch" Reynolds and Leslie "Sissie" Hodgkinson.
She is survived by: her husband Ross Prinkey; her children, Rodney Smith (Diana), Timothy Smith (Rhonda), Jennifer Smith (Benjamin) and Michael Prinkey (Rachel); her grandchildren, Brittney Brodzenski (Joe), Mitchell Smith (Dee), Ricky Halahan, Dylan Smith (Danielle), Hunter Marchand, Katie Kay Smith, Chloe Smith, Grace Prinkey and Brayden Smith; her great grandchildren, Landyn, Veronica, Brennan, Eli and Jonah Smith; her sister Mable Henn; and her pet Josie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In honor of Kay Francis, the family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in her name to Relay for Life to her favorite team or to your favorite Relay for Life team.
