John Phillis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Phillis of Darlington, Pennsylvania, born in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 25, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlisle Phillis and Pearl Phillis (Moore); his wife Ernestine "Evelyn" Phillis; his brothers, Lawrence and Harry Phillis; and his sister-in-law Dottie.
He is survived by: his sons, David Phillis (Nancy), Kevin Phillis (Debbie), Randy Phillis (Lisa) and Jeff Phillis; his siblings, Irvin Phillis (Bernie), Earl Phillis (Jane), Roy Phillis and Sue Wilbur (Brian); his sister-in-law Bernice Phillis; and his grandchildren, Eric Phillis (Choom), Ryan Phillis, Chad Phillis (Alexa), Kerri, Trent, Hannah, Hailee, Meiya Phillis, Megan and Matt Merritt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as his best friend.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like all donations be made in John's name to the Oak Grove Church of Christ- 169 Ashwood Dr. Industry, PA 15052.
