He is survived by: his wife Odette Medawar; his children, Hany Gendy (Brigitta) of Port St, Amgad Gendy (Lisa) of Clifton Heights, PA, Ramy Gendy (Nancy) of Gilbertsville, PA and Gihan Gendy (Magdy) of Springfield, PA; his grandchildren, Nelson Gendy of Port St, Gabriel Gendy of Gilbertsville, PA and Belle Gendy of Gilbertsville, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Nadia, Magdy, Aida, Nader, Violett and Nasser.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. George Coptic Orthodox Church of Greater Philadelphia (411 DeKalb St, Norristown, PA 19401).
