He was predeceased by: his parents, Aileen Nies and Paul Raymond Nies; and his brother Lawrence Nies. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his daughters, Darlene Nies, Kelli (Mark DiDonato) and Stacy (James Matlack); his grandchildren, Angelina, Gianna, Olivia, Ryan and Alexander; his sister-in-law Mary Anne Nies; his niece Martha; and his nephew Paul.
