He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ahern and Dorothy Ahern. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Margaret Ahern and William Ahern; his stepson Daniel McEnhill (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Kaide and Kerrigan McEnhill; and his siblings, Daniel W. (Jacqueline), Matthew P. (Jeannine), Elizabeth Jane Conroy (Charles) and Theresa R. Ahern. He is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews.
