He is survived by: his wife Vicki (Gum); his daughter Melissa Piestrak Joyce; his son-in-law Mike Joyce of Throop; his sisters, Barbara (David Maneval), Kathleen Smith of California and Charlotte (Mark Wertman); and his nieces, Stacey, Lynn, Stephanie, Kristin, Brittany and Mackenzie.
