Shirley I. Nichols Hill Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley I. Nichols Hill (Danville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 1, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herrold and Jennie Flanders Nichols Herrold; her daughters, Debra and Cheryl; and her siblings, Ray "Gene" Nichols, Ann Blasser and Marcella Gelnett.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ann Hill Lynn (Scott) of Danville, PA.; her grandsons, Jamie, Terrance of Danville, Derrick of Fayetteville, NC and Scott of Turbotville; and her siblings, Sylvia Aucker of Linglestown and John "Joe" Nichols of Myerstown. She is also survived by seven great- grandchildren.

Her care had been entrusted to the Mountain View Nursing and Rehab in Coal Township PA where she contracted Covid-19, and became a statistic of that facility, and of the pandemic.

“Mary Ann: I was saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. She lived a very active and full life. We enjoyed being a friend, customer, and your parents being our client on several occasions over her productive business years in Selinsgrove.
