He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hort and Mary Hort (Bennett) of Danville. He is survived by: his wife Erika Patz Hort; his son Dr. Kurtis Hort; his grandchildren, Annika and Evan of St. Augustine, Fla.; and his brother R. Craig Hort of Danville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
