He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur W. and Bernice Pickenheim Paul (Drasher); his children, Eric Pickenheim (Ellen) of Danville, PA and Karen Johnston (Brian Johnston) of Chambersburg, PA.; his grandchildren, Jade Pickenheim, Ian Pickenheim, Erin Johnston and Caleigh Johnston; his great grandchildren, Quinn and Willow O'Brien; and his siblings, Cheryl Thomas (Pickenheim) and Ronald Pickenheim. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
