She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Hower and Beatrice M. Hower (Roadarmel); and her husband Charles W. Hummer, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Richard C. Hummer of Danville, Randall Lee Hummer (LuAnn) of Danville, Charles W. Hummer, Jr. (Patricia) of Danville, Jeffrey Scott Hummer of Danville and Lori Ann (Scott Keppler); and her siblings, Jacqueline "Jackie" (James Shutt) and James R. Hower. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
