With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jay N. Trate of Danville, Pennsylvania, born in Milton, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac S. Trate and Sarah Helen Trate (Wolfe); and his siblings, Ray, Donald, Hugh, Isaac, Verna, Jean and Charlotte.
He is survived by: his wife Joan B. Johnson; his brother Franklin D. Trate (Sandy) of New Columbia; his grandchildren, Bradley Trate (Heidy), Alicia Jones (Janice), Jocelyn Jamison (Ben), Sarah Smichi (Abdellah), Lindsay Barry (Chad), Christopher Reibsome (Thelma), Mary Holdren (Chris) and Rich Rudy (Kim); his great grandchildren, Alex, Aliyah, Declan, Archer, Logan, Kole, Hailey, Ethan, Zachery, Wyatt, Xavier, Ysabella and Gideon; his great great grandchildren, Oaklin and Weston; and also Sandra L. Brown (Elwood) of New Columbia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
