He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Petty and Florence E. Petty (Bankhart); and his wife Margaret Randolph "Rande" Petty. He is survived by: his children, Michelle A. Mordan (Danville), Robert Petty of Greenville, Bradley Petty (Berwick), Jeffrey Petty of Nescopeck and Susan Petty Nevel of Berwick; his grandchildren, Blaise, Jessica, Mackenzie, Maci and Anthony, III; and his sister Lorna Steever.
