He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph and Grace B. Lane Woodruff; his son Brian Woodruff; and his siblings, Stanley Woodruff, Helen Woodruff and Verna Daley.
He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Aikey Woodruff; and his son William Woodruff of Ohio. He is also survived by two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
