It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Max Von Blohn Jr. of Danville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Max, Sr. and Beatrice R. Von Blohn (Shade); his daughter Lisa Von Blohn; his children-in-law, Charlene Von Blohn and Scott Chrysler; and his siblings, Ruth Raup, Esther Hettinger, Lois Gabriel and Tom Kline.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy C. Von Blohn (Raup); his children, Gerry Von Blohn, III of Elysburg, PA, Jeff Von Blohn (Julie) of Danville, Tom Von Blohn (Deb) of Danville and Sue Chrysler of Danville, PA.; and his brother David Von Blohn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six step grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. (42 W Mahoning St, Danville, PA 17821). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
