He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Humbert and Evelyn Louise Humbert (Payne); and his brother John Humbert, III. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Spangler; his sons, Franklin Humbert, Jr. (Amanda) of New Providence, PA, James Humbert (Tracy) of Morrisville, PA and Tom Humbert (Lori) of Danville, PA; his grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, Chris, Danielle, Sam, Matt, Emma and Harry; his great grandchildren, Abby, Luke and Jordan; and his siblings, David Humbert (Connie) of Whitehall, PA and Louise Eastman (Ed). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
