He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Brent and Betty A. Brent (Hackenberg); and his wife Sally J. Brent (Wertman). He is survived by: his sons, Gary E. Brent Jr. (Jennifer) of Danville and John A. Brent (Colleen) of Danville; his grandchildren, Zachary (Jadyn), Ashley, Katie and Paige Brent; his great grandchild Mylo; and his sisters, Brenda (Keith Gibson) of Danville and Cindy (John Ammerman) of Danville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
