He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin H. Tarr and Ethel Mae Tarr (Lanyon); and his sister Ethel'Toots'Donehue. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Olga Tilley; his children, Lon Tarr (Cindy Murray), Bonnie Lee Ricciardi (Perry) and Randy Tarr (Jane Hardwick); his grandchildren, Brandon, Jared, Jennifer, Justin and Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Leila, Madison, Maci, Kinsley, Avery, Brennan, Finley and Hadley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cremation and Alternative Services, Inc. (421 Allegheny Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Burket-Truby Funeral Home (421 Allegheny Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Association or Dementia Society of America.
