He was predeceased by: his parent Harvey Berkheimer; his wife Ruth Berkheimer (Yeagle); and his son Robert Berkheimer. He is survived by: his parent Maggie Berkheimer (McCain); his sister Betty Starr of Danville; his significant other Freda Lisson of Danville; his son Doren Berkheimer Jr.; and also, Becky Zimmerman of Millville, Joanne James of Northumberland, Vern Smedley of Danville and Fred Smedley of Danville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
