He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Hurley and Mildred Stigerwalt Hurley; and his brother Scott Hurley. He is survived by: his wife Janis Marie Wemple Hurley; his daughters, Mariena Hurley (Christopher Lombardo) of Drexel Hill, PA and Natalie Notestine (Tyler) of Danville; his grandchildren, Lennox and Leon Notestine; and his siblings, Butch Hurley of Berwick, Michael Hurley of Danville and Holly Hurley of Danville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
