He was predeceased by: his parent Henry R.; his daughter Nancy Shrawder; and his brothers, Homer Metzger, Frank Metzger and Kenneth Metzger.
He is survived by: his parent Hattie E. Metzger (Moser); his wife Alice M. Hanna; his children, Allen Metzger and Carolyn S. Swisher; his son-in-law Norman Swisher of Bloomsburg; and his sister Thelma Miller.
Viewing will be on Monday from 5-7 p. m. at the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville and on Tuesday at the church from 10-11 a. am. favorite_border Donations Pledges.
