She was predeceased by: her husband John Schaeffer; her close friend Leonard Shearer; her parents, Larry Gardner and Anna Gardner (Romig); her stepdaughter Donna Wakefield; her grandson Jonathan; and her siblings, Judy, Becky, Gail, Jimmy, Mike and Larry.
She is survived by: her children, John Schaeffer, Jodi McVay, Rondra Grim (Michael) and Tami McVay (Tommy); her stepdaughter Lori Keller (Dennis); her grandchildren, Barry, Amy, Brandon and Nick; her great grandchildren, Waylon, Madelyn, Emily, Lucy and Elsie; and her brothers, Peter and Chuck Gardner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to a charity of one's choice in loving memory of Sandra.
