He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Hart and Anne Campbell Hart; his son John Albert Hart; and his sisters, Nancy O'Neal and Anne Hart.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Keenan; his children, Mary Anne Diamond (John), Pegeen Sheakoski (John), Patrick Hart (Alissa), Susan Carey (Will III), Katie Holzman (Aaron) and Maura White (Charles); and his brother Joseph T. C. Hart. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Wilkes-Barre, PA; the Chemistry Department of the University of Scranton or Scranton Preparatory School.
