He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Battle and Ann Hunt Battle; his siblings, Thomas, Francis, Joseph Battle and Nancy Walsh; and his nephew David Sodano.
He is survived by: his daughter Melanie; his wife Denise White Battle of Dalton, PA; his children, Jennifer Moskalczak (Ryan) of Camp Hill, PA and Jimmy Battle; and his siblings, John Battle (Gail) of Troup, TX and Maureen Sodano (Mike) of New Port Richey, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and relatives.
