With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward J. Clarke of Dalton, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Edward's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Edward has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Clarke and Alice Clarke Jr. (Barrett); his brothers, Kevin and James Clarke; and his nephew Michael Ryman Clarke.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Bonnie Clarke (Dallas); and his niece Leah Clarke. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

“We were so saddened to hear about Ned’s passing! I will never forget the kindness Ned showed my Mother while she was living with my sister in Dalton. He prayed with her every Sunday and gave her communion. She loved him! He was so kind to her and able to make her laugh and put a smile on her face. She then moved in with me in MA, and he called her every other Sunday and prayed with us! He was so thoughtful and selfless with his time. We will miss you , Ned. Rest in Peace! Denise + Tom McNamara”
