He was predeceased by: his father Darwin Clifford; and his brothers, Roger and Edward Clifford. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Vanderbilt Capwell; his spouse Gayle Elizabeth Ball; his children, Megan (Thomas Smith) of Meshoppen and Shawn (Nicole Clifford) of Dallas; and his grandsons, Aiden, James Smith and Jackson Clifford.
