He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Webber (Matter) and Kenneth Webber; and his stepbrother Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Matter (Lenker); his children, Phillip Matter of Dalmatia and Jennifer Wynn of Salem, AL; and his granddaughters, Brianna Nevarez and Cierra Wynn.
