He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia J. Deardorff (Shutt); his parents, Harvey E. Deardorff and Pauline M. Deardorff (Briggs); and his siblings, Dale Deardorff and Doris Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly A. Rudisill of Hanover, Karen L. Slonaker (Anthony) of York, Cathy S. Fogle (Rodney) of York and Barry L. Deardorff of York. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
