We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2025, Stella M. Ness of Dallastown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Stella shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Stella farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Tharp and Delphia Tharp (Lewis); her husband S. Kenneth Ness; and her siblings, Orville Tharp, Roy Tharp and Mildred Shumaker.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth E. Ness (Bonnie) and David B. Ness (Karen). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc. - New Freedom (24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA 17349). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Susquehanna Memorial Gardens -York (250 Chestnut Hill Rd, York, PA 17402).
