We bid farewell to Gloria I. Abernethy (Dallastown, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 16, 2025 at the age of 79. Gloria touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Louis J. Strine; her parent Theon Grace; and her siblings, Glen Grove, Yvonne Robinson, Brenda Grove, Charlene Keener and Marion Warner.
She is survived by: her daughter Theresa Markle (Rick); her stepdaughters, Lisa Ponton and Tina Strine; and her siblings, Mildred Smeltzer, Betty Black, Shirley Kline, Donald Grove and Wanda Washburn. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc. (104 W Main St, Dallastown, PA 17313). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
