He is survived by: his parents, Edmund Gabel and Grace Gabel; his wife Marilyn; his children, Lisa Bolton (Don) of Trucksville, William Gabel (Beth) of Freeland and Nicole Leonard (Andy) of Beaumont; his grandchildren, Brieann, Hailee, Cory and Kaiden; and his siblings, Jim Gabel of Newark, Ted Gabel of Sworysville and Ruthanne Ruddy of Luzerne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
