He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Bernson and Shirley Starke Bernson; his wife Mitzie; and his daughter Sharon Laurel Bernson. He is survived by: his children, David Bernson (Karen) of Bolder, CO, Larry Bernson (Patty) of Florida, Miriam Iris Bernson of Dallas, Marc Bernson (Jessica) of Seattle, WA and Michelle Price of Easton, PA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
