He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Swan and Helen Spencer Swan. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Saunders; his sons, Scott Swan (Mary Ellen) of Rockaway, NJ and Dave Swan of Dallas; and his stepgranddaughter Taylor Ruszczyk of Rockaway, NJ. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Noxen Bible Baptist Church, 3622 State Route 29, Noxen, PA 18636.
