Joan (Mings) Slaughter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2020, at the age of 87, Joan (Mings) Slaughter in Dallas, Pennsylvania, born in Tyler, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her son Jim; her brother-in-law Edward Slaughter, Jr.; and her parents, John Mings and Florence Mings.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Slaughter (Ron Bedford) and Sherri Schuetz (Dave); her grandchildren, Katie, Matthew and Michael Schuetz; her sister-in-law Betty Slaughter; her nieces, Pamela Bush and Kathleen Chaney; her goddaughter Diana Williams; and also, Sissy Crysup, Butch Jones and Jim Jones.
There will be a private ceremony with family because of social distancing restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan's memory to St. Paul's Methodist Church at 1965 Ferguson Rd., Allison Park, PA 15101 or Spenser's Voice.
