He was predeceased by: his parents, George T. Yanik and Rita Yanik (Kriso); and his brothers, George M. and Gary Yanik. He is survived by: his wife Marianne Hogan; his grandchildren, Molly Machione, Joseph Machione, Brayden Yanik, Brice Yanik, Philip Gannon, Maryn Machione, Teresa Yanik, Andrew Yanik, Maureen Gannon, Julianne Gannon, Kamden Yanik, Kylie Yanik, Harper Yanik, Emily Yanik, Ellianna Yanik, Peter Gannon, Angela Gannon, Ava Yanik, Clare Yanik, Isaiah Kresge and James Gannon; his sister Mary Ellen Luchetti (John) of Hampstead, N. C.; and also, Julie Machione (Lawrence) of Westminster, MD, Christopher Yanik (Amber) of Brunswick, GA, Joseph Yanik (Lauren) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Francis Yanik (Jessica) of Shavertown, Mary Gannon (Brian) of Mount Airy, MD, John Yanik of Hyattsville, MD, Moira Yanik of Frederick, MD, Robert Yanik (Kathryn) of Silver Spring, MD and Anne Kresge (Luke) of Dalton, PA.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Gate of Heaven Parish (40 Machell Ave, Dallas, PA 18612). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery (217 Memorial Hwy, Dallas, PA 18612).
