We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2023, at the age of 77, Donald Eugene Covert of Dallas, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Covert and Mildred Covert; his brothers, Kenneth "Beaver" Covert, Jr. and David "Duck" Covert; and his stepgrandson Cody Wolfe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Coole (Kris) of Noxen and Missy Winters (Jack) of Noxen; his wife Emma Hanna of Dallas; his siblings, Janet Carey of Noxen, Larry Covert, Sr. (Helen) of Shavertown and James Covert (Kathleen) of Loyalville; his stepchildren, David Wolfe, Jr., Dodie Rosencrans and Joy Lynn Christian; his grandchildren, Katlyn, Kelsey, Karli, Kaci, Jake, Justin and Joshua; and his stepgrandchildren, David III, Christian, Austin, Mikayla, Araya, Darryll, Tyler and Ashlynn. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
