Bette (Strand) J. Gillespie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2021, at the age of 89, Bette (Strand) J. Gillespie of Dallas, Pennsylvania, born in Mandan, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jalmer Strand and Rose Strand (Sybers); her former husband Arthur Segrave-Daly; her husband John "Whitey" Gillespie; her son Matthew Segrave-Daly; and her brother Dr. Donald Strand.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Segrave-Primus (Stephen), Kathleen Daly-Leonard (Anthony), Dr. Stephen Segrave-Daly (Jody), John Segrave-Daly of Dallas, PA, Elizabeth Segrave-Daly (Wavendean Fernandes), David Segrave-Daly (Kate Murray), Anne Gillooly (Dennis), NJ, James Segrave-Daly (Deanna), Paul Segrave-Daly of Lansdowne, PA and Dr. Joan McFadden (Matthew). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, restrictions have been put in place. Those attending the Funeral Mass, please follow the practice of social distancing, and masks are required at all times at the church.
