He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Basey and Ann Lipsky Basey. He is survived by: his siblings, Rose Pournaras (Chris) of Canonsburg, PA and Tim Basey (Janet) of Donora, PA; his niece Stefanie King (Matt); his nephew Thomas Pournaras (Ashley); his sister-in-law Judy Basey; his brother Nick Basey; and his nephew Timothy Pournaras.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Bentleyville Public Library 931 Main St. Bentleyville, PA 15314.
