He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy W. Teagarden and Lena M. Martin Teagarden; and his wife Polly A. Phillips Teagarden. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Lee Parkinson (William) of Hammond, LA, Charles Teagarden (Diane Kerns) of Ellsworth, PA, Kathleen Shutsy (Jerry) of Greensburg, PA and Randall Teagarden of St. Augustine, FL; his grandchildren, Ryan, Daniel, Casey, Amanda, Brandy, Christopher and Ashley; his sister Edith Skokut of Amity, PA; his grandson Brandon Teagarden; and his siblings, Mary Phillips, John Teagarden and Betty Shipe. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
