He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Williams Sr. (Merrifield) and William Williams; and his sister Shirley L. Gunter (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Sheila L. Williams (Chidboy); his daughter Shaina M. Franson (David); his grandson Liam D. Franson; his siblings, Beverly Lawhead (William "Bill") of Hyde, Timothy "Tim" Williams (Kathy Nudge) of Osceola Mills and Heather Williams (Eldon McClarren) of West Decatur; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica McDanel, Austin McDanel, Casey Williams, Kylee Millinder, Timothy Williams Jr. and Mark Hess.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in care of the Bill Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund 300 State Street Curwensville, PA 16833, where an account will be set up to fund a scholarship for students from the Curwensville Area School District who participate in "Friday Night Lights".
