He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kifer and Dorothy Kifer (Quick); his grandson Russell William Kifer; and his great grandchildren, Karleigh Caldwell and Logan Lupton.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Kifer (Rowles); his children, Sharon Caldwell of Woodland, Michael Kifer of Philipsburg, Carla Verelli (David) of Curwensville, Arthur Kifer (Markay) of Clearfield and Russell Kifer Jr. (Patti) of West Decatur; and his sister Viola McMurray. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren.
