He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Dale and Faye Dale (Freeman); his son Richard Allen Dale; and his brothers, Freeman and Kenneth Dale.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Dale (Debbie) of Punxsutawney and Cheryl Sutika (John) of Grampian; his grandchildren, Douglas Dale Jr., Lauren Hospodar (Jeremy), Clayton Dale, Michelle Bennett (Joseph), John Sutika Jr. and Brett Sutika; his great grandchildren, Elliott, Carson Hospodar, Judson and Lillian Bennett; and his siblings, Robert Dale of Sewickley and Madeline Curry (Raymond) of Alexandria, VA.. He is also survived by friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
