In loving memory of John A. Starr of Curwensville, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on December 20, 2024 at the age of 76. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Starr and Grace Starr (Gelnett); and his brothers, Perry, James and William Starr.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Dunlap (Dan) of DuBois, Inez Peterson, Mable Tersine (Tony) of Punxsutawney, Mary Tersine of Johnston, Pat Hand and Randy Starr (Joyce) of Luthersburg. He is also survived by several in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home (300 State St, Curwensville, PA 16833). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
