With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanne Petrone of Curwensville, Pennsylvania, born in Olanta, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 1, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Straw and Cora G. Straw (Cathcart); her former husband Arnold 'Herb Petrone; her siblings, Betty Povlich, Dean Cathcart, James Straw and John 'Jack Straw; and her nephew Robert Povlich.
She is survived by: her husband Herb; and her son Ronny 'Pete Petrone (Debora) of Curwensville. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Timothy Catholic Church, 306 Walnut Street, Curwensville, PA 16833; or to the Curwensville Rescue Hose and Ladder Ambulance Service, 408 Filbert Street, Curwensville, PA 16830.
