It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Harshberger of Curwensville, Pennsylvania, born in Allport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Deacon and Jennie Deacon (Snedden); her husband Elbert A. Harshberger; and her siblings, Milton Deacon, Thomas Deacon, Sanford Deacon, Fred Barrett and Leah Coble.
She is survived by: her children, Joel Harshberger (Dolores) of Cameron, NC, Elaine Young (Tom) of Polk and Kathleen Mosier (Sam) of Curwensville; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lyons, Greg Harshberger, Melissa Dearth and Maggie Lewis (McFadden); and her stepgrandchildren, Peter Hallberg and Angela Jones. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
