He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfield F. Cline and Sarah M. Cline (Ritter); his former wife Dorothy Robb Lippert; his wife Gloria Bachelier Cline; his daughter Jodi A. Mencer; and his son-in-law LeRoy Fye.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Cline Lynch (William) of South Carolina, Frederic L. Cline of Curwensville, Jerry Cline of Clearfield and Cynthia Fye of Curwensville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
