He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Johnston and Eunice Johnston (Tubbs); and his brothers, Malcolm and Ronald Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Johnston (Snyder); his son Dennis Johnston of O'Shanter; and his sister-in-law Laura Jean Johnston of Culpeper, VA. He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the choice of the donor.
