It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clara Haney of Curwensville, Pennsylvania, born in Lacrosse, Washington, who passed away on August 17, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peder Garberg and Brynhild Garberg (Kjosnes); her husband Ardell Bender; her sisters, Phyllis Miner of Spokane, WA and Sadie Allen of Valley Forge, WA.; and her son Richard L. Bender.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy P. Haney (Jackie), Martin P. Bender (Bryan Jones) and Leslie A. Bender (Jan) of Clearfield; her grandchildren, Tracey Eisenhower of Indiana, PA, Melissa Bender McGonigal of Clearfield, Donna Feight of Clearfield, Allen Bender, Samantha Morgan of Clearfield and Robert Salazar; and her brother Irwin Garberg of Spokane, WA.. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
