He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, R. Thomas Caldwell and Bertha Caldwell (Westover); his wife Gail Lyla (McQuown); his great-grandparent Reuben Caldwell; his children, Amos D. Caldwell Jr. of Grand Island, NY, Lucille Leadbetter (Thomas) of Tonawanda, NY, Jeffrey Caldwell (Sharon) of Williamsville, NY, Susan Rothrock (Thomas) of Erie, PA and William Caldwell (Gail) of New Millport; his grandchildren, Danyelle Bellinger, Helen Becker, Darcy Stadelmaier, David Rothrock, Lauren Daley, Julie McGivern, Jesse Leadbetter, Angela Altieri, Christina Caldwell and Emily Caldwell; his former wife Lucille (Goss); and his siblings, Mark Caldwell Sr. and Lydia. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
