We bid farewell to Alexander Poshyvajlo of Curtisville, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 22, 2025 at the age of 92. Alexander touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alexander shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alexander farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Poshyvajlo and Anna Poshyvajlo (Kozacja). He is survived by: his wife Anna Poshyvajlo (Kyryczenko); and his son Alexander "Sasha" Poshyvajlo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Michael's Eastern Orthodox Church (92 Liberty St, Curtisville, PA 15032). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Alexander Nevesky Orthodox Cathedral (8290 Thompson Run Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Michael Orthodox Church, PO Box 92, Curtisville, PA 15032.
