It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald E. Bassler of Curryville, Pennsylvania, born in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Weldon "Brub" and Mary Irene Bassler (Brumbaugh). He is survived by: his wife Jolene G. Smith; his children, Donna J. Kimmich (Greg) of Bellefonte, Debbie E. Knee of Curryville and Kevin D. Bassler (Janis) of Fredericksburg; his grandchildren, Alyssa D. Bassler, Zachary E. Kimmich and Ethan S. Kimmich; and his brothers, James H. Bassler (Mid) of Martinsburg and Jerre L. Bassler of Hollidaysburg.
